Anyone up for a quick redraw?
« on: August 30, 2013, 09:34:05 AM »
I have an image I'm having a little bit of trouble vectorizing. Anyone willing to help out? When I vectorize it, the white outline blends in with the white background, so I end up losing it. I need to provide the customer with a mockup today. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I messed with it for a few, and I see what you mean! I would contact the customer's artist, find out what the font is, and re-build it over the color jpeg. Five minute job, (with the font!)

That's the main issue. The artwork was done by a company who did some banners and posters for them. They don't want to give the customer the artwork even though they do not offer screen printing.

Thanks for taking a look at it!

Not perfect but it could be a good jumping off point for you to clean up.

Update: I have someone working on it, and my customer just came up with the original artwork a minute ago. Good grief! haha

Thanks kingscreen, that probably would have really helped put me to where I wanted to be.

You are an awesome bunch!

Thanks!

Hi Shane, I see you got it already, but, I would have opened it in Photoshop, and extracted the green, bring that back into Illustrator, trace it, then add the outline and the drop shadow there. Oh well, next time.
