Javelin/Workhorse tech in Northern Illinois
« on: July 29, 2013, 03:32:22 PM »
My 2 month long project to refurb an old Javelin is finally coming to an end and I'm ready to get up and printing.  I'm getting very close to having all 5 heads (Head 2 will be for a 3rd party quartz flash unit that doesn't 'shuttle'... however, it's still 'automatic' in that it doesn't flash until the table comes up.

I'm already printing single color jobs on it successfully, and it seems to be running pretty smoothly.

I'm looking for a tech to come in and help me align things and get it as close to original as possible.

A few items tho...  This press was/is a '91.  I've done a lot of automation work on it (new non-mac brand valves, etc), so I'm looking for somebody who's willing to 'think outside the box' and not be married to the 'brand' as much as getting the mechanics of the machine running correctly.  And, this is my first auto, so somebody who'd be willing to show me the ropes of squeegee angle and pressure on an automatic would be a huge plus.

Thanks in advance.
