Another white ink thread...
« on: July 02, 2013, 10:06:42 AM »
I've been out of the loop for a while doing other things at work but now
I have finally run completely out of QCM-158. I have to order something
today for a couple of fairly large orders. One is 100%, and of course,
the other is 50/50. Can I use Street Fighter LB on cotton? What else
is out there that is available in the south (Florida/Georgia)?

Xenon Regular White is a good choice.  I have some in Atlanta.  $50 per gallon or $225 per fiver.

Sonny, get in contact with Dru Dalton, Real Thread orlando, he is interested in trying Nova .

Sorry didn't mean to de-rail the white thread. That's a great price on the white by the way!

I have used street fighter lb on cotton with great success. I find it needs a very small amount of reducer though.

I love wilflex epic quick as an omni white plastisol.  Runs like butter on many different garments on the manual or auto, has a soft, matte finish, excellent opacity and matte down, consistent bucket to bucket. It costs more than all the inks listed so far.

I,m using WM plastics Bright HO white been real good so far, lays down nice an flat compared to some other inks that raise, I will agree some of the better inks are getting very pricey, I won't even use One Stroke very good ink but those prices wow.

And its worth every penny. Spend time dicking around with crappy ink or pull it straight out of the bucket and run. It does not take long at all to pay for itself when 1 hour of shop time messing with lower end inks covers the cost difference.

I feel the same way about Streetfighter as I used to about Quick. The only thing Quick has on SF
is a slightly more matte finish. For less than half the price, I'll deal.

Thanks all. I'll try Xenon for now but I will keep an open mind. Just too many to choose from.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Miami Screen Print supply's smooth or superior white.

NuWhite is the way to go...yeah might be pricing but like blue said...do you want to be printing or stirring ink and messing with it....down time is more expensive than any of my ink
