Wilflex Olympia PLUS white

Anyone using it or has used it. Fancy sharing their experience with it. We can get 65 Gallons of it for free of Wilflex. Some of the ink got too hot during transport from China to their Japanese distributer  and has thickened a little. Willfex tested it and a) not all the ink is bad  and b) they used 2% reducer and it was all fine. Anyway the distributer does not want sell the ink. Bottom line we can have it for free and get reducer and  viscosity buster as well for free. The only thing that made me think was the fact that we are trying to change to phthalate free inks. But 65 Gallons is almost to good to miss out on.

From a technical standpoint: It depends on how much of the additives you need to add to the ink, to make the ink printable again and meet your specs.  You could have some opacity loss, but probably not. 

Also, remember that your flash times "can" go up with the addition of either curable reducer or viscosity buster (which is straight plasticizer) as well as "after flash tack" so test that.  Also your cure times could be a little longer as well. 

So make sure to test, test, test.  If it meets what you need, go for it. 

Never printed with that white though.

The guys at Wilflex tested it with 2% reducer and apparently it worked just fine.
