OMG Tornado!
« on: May 20, 2013, 04:48:36 PM »
I don't recall anyone here in Oklahoma but if any I hope you guys are ok. I just watched live a 2 mile wide tornado utterly destroy miles and miles of residential neighborhoods just south of Oklahoma City. I don't think I ever seen this large of scale damage ever before.

CNN said an elementary school took a direct hit.  Can't imagine.

Donnie is right in the middle of all that stuff I think.  Let's hope that one of our own did not get caught up in this.

Donnie's to the north and a bit east. Looks like it's missing him.

the story of the kids is sad, 24 were in the hallway and the roof collapsed, and they ended up drowning from a burst pipe and the rain...horrible

We had a tornado hit one of our schools a few years back and killed 7 kids at the high school, it just came from nowhere, you talk about on edge cuz our son's school was in the path, and for some reason it just sucked back up in the sky, talk about a scary moment, and the school it hit was crushed.  blessing go out to all out there.

we had a tornado jump over our neighborhood one time.  it wasn't nearly the size of that one, it didn't do a ton of damage.
