Freight Class For A Used Auto

Trying to get quotes to ship my new press. Does anyone know the freight class its supposed to be?
The crates are (1)  99" x 47" x 98' Tall (1800 lbs)   (2) 97" x 90" x 66" Tall (1200 lbs)

In an old thread 224 said it is "125". That is if you believe that guy. I think he only works in the industry part-time out of his garage.

91 M&R 10/12 Challenger. Oldie but goodie. Should be able to pay for itself rather shortly and when I go to upgrade I could sell it for real close to what I paid for it OR and preferably will be a 2nd auto!

As long as it is crated it is class 85.(machinery)
Specify used.
Class 125 is small household appliances.

Anyone ever use uship? I put the crates on the site to get an idea of what shipping would run and I am getting what I consider to be super cheap rates to ship them over 2100 miles and 3000 pounds. The cheapest bid is $600. Seems to cheap.

That sounds about right. We got our new press + flash+Roller Master and roller frames shipped to Japan from Chicago for under $3000. That`s a good 12000 miles if I`m not mistaken. I can ask a friend of mine in Ohio who runs a shipping agency for a quote if you like.

Just PM me the address where the stuff is going to be picked up and the delivery address. And crate size and weight if possible. Is it just one crate or 2 as I suspect?

We have used Uniship in the past, good pricing.

I have never used them but Access America Transport gave us some good quotes.

I concur with the old 244 thread. Class 125- printing machinery.

The higher the class the more money!
Insurance coverage pays out more as well.
On a used piece of equipment (used) Class 85 more than covers it.
The weight density per foot fits class 85
Machinery is machinery is machinery!
Why spend extra dollars with no value?

Because if something bad happens to it, there might be an issue if it's misclassified.
