Sampling
« on: April 08, 2011, 04:08:02 PM »
Just got paid $397 and change for ONE Tshirt yesterday. The customer didn't even flinch when pulling out her checkbook. Three placements, 6 screens and all the film and sep time. Of course all that $ will apply to the first real order they place today... just thought I share the the most expensive shirt I've ever sold :)

hey Doug,

wanna send some of that business my way? two piece minimum at those price though!  ;D

on a serious note, I only give them credit for half. You just spend the time to do this, you should be compensated for it . . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

I'm currently bidding and proposing to get a new customer. My samples sell for $0. "Negative money" if overhead is included.

I sure hope you bring it home. I quit working for free a long time ago (friends and family excluded but not every time). I toss in simple artwork if it means getting or not getting the order. I draw the line there... I gots ta get paid!
