Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison
So we ordered a new dryer belt, and i didn't realize the string i used shrunk in the dryer. So that kind of rules. So i'm about 12-15" off.I have a patch kit for my older belt, would that work to splice a long enough piece of that together? or will that eventually fail as the thread gets worn out?Feeling pretty great about it, in case you were wondering!
if its short, cant you order a 12-15" long piece and attach it to the belt? when we bought an extension to our raypaul (years ago) we bought a piece and just zipped it to the existing belt instead of ordering a new belt.
On that note, I wish to congratulate our members for showing a high degree of maturity and restraint with no sophomoric references to Eric's embarrassment of needing an extension.whoops

If it makes you feel better Eric, I changed a starter on a '71 Barracuda, when it only needed a jump...Steveanybody else want to share a stupid story?
