I like the Mercury,. In fact, in general I like simple.
I like gesture style drawing and brushwork and find that, often, to me, less is more.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

I was thinking the same thing frog.  I also love when a simple 1 color is done in highlights like that, especially when it's done that well.

I am seeing this trend across the board. Less colors, stronger design. Come May, we will be supplying licensed apparel for Ford, Chevy, Shelby and others. So far the initial graphics are four or less color. (Mens still eight to nine though)

Shoot I've been doing sim process for one of my customers here lately, started out tracing all the cars until it just got to much, now they say they want the cars to look less real, meaning tracing again....WHY!!!!...   I'm with you guys I like the simple look, also very clean without all those crazy colors.  Nice Job!!!!

Thanks guys and I agree that simple sells. Mainly with the younger generation. Rarely do they want to look like a corporate billboard for a company. A little mystery as to what they are wearing seems also desirable.
