Base white, yellow, red, blue, top white.

Man, you can do so much with 5 colors on black!  The rocket fade can be better. Add some soft hand to the base to help those small dots fade into the shirt more on base white. But I didn’t notice those were so light. 1-2% dots in the thinnest area where the thread blocks them. That base is a 230. Top colors are 305. 55lpi.

I'm no expert on simproc, but that is nice blending to pull off that orange and green. For goodness sake, tell the press op to get that thing back in registration... ;D Nice job!

Eric,

You've come a long way baby!   Looks great. I remember when you were first dabbling in halftone printing. :)

Here is another 5 clr on black. Base, 230m,  yellow, red, blue, Teal on 30 mesh for top colors.

Tight budget, yet wanting the world. Pretty stoked with the subtle color differences. The teal mixing in lioght;y (and printing at end), for the left background helped provide sort of a Greenish grey-ish blue metal tinges.

Not the usual type of post here but here's our newest glassware test print. Nazdar ADE with standard hardener, baked at 325F for 10 minutes. They're cooling then getting stress tested and, if they pass, they'll be our first foray into retail beerware.

Dan, I would've never thought that was 5 color print.  That shows some true skillz.
It's not a job if you love doing it.

Thanks Doug!  I still get excited about pulling stuff like that off.

Pangea,
What kind of press are you using to print that? Is that direct screen print?

Yup! It's a little press I got off of eBay for about $300. These test prints ended up with some "orange peel" texture so I ordered some thinner to hopefully sort that out.

Here is one today using the rio system.  The first is the original art and the 2nd the print.  I was happy at how close the colors matched.   This was 8 Colors including the ub  I was having trouble with the red pms 200 but after about 5 prints everything leveled out.

Haven't post in this thread a while. This one kicked my butt on the seps. I just don't do these enough and am a little disappointed in my self and my simprocess ability. It's seriously slipping. In the end it turned out well. Crappy pic as usual.
