Some foil printing and overprinting. Still trying to iron this out.

The circular image is a solid foil with a distressed foil overlay.
The Tahitian club is around 1200mm long. Solid foil and black halftone overprint.
The rectangular statue image is a solid lump of foil 1000x700mm with nice big golf-ball dot sized graduating tone.

Here's a hairy one.

I got a call a while back to print some cabinet panels for a concept store being installed at an airport. I turn up to the cabinet makers expecting a bunch of painted MDF panels I was to print the damask/fishnet pattern all around. Uhh no, the cabinets have all been assembled and painted, so I had to print these enormous cabinets, and make sure the diamond pattern matched up when going around corners and printing off the edge.

Righto.

Screen, a squeegee, some G-clamps, an offcut piece of MDF, a ruler, and a bunch of tape. X6 cabinets of various sizes and shapes, the biggest being a tower/bridge type thing at 4000X2600mm. Only had to have one side of a smaller cabinet repainted after one of the young guys comes along and rubs his hands all over the wet ink syaing "Oh yeah, that looks real good"...

Foil + 5colors plastisol

Plastisol transfers. Apart from the art printing above I do for my landlord, I just run plastisol transfers. I've been mucking around a few years developing a system that's reliable and solid enough to be ultimately confident in, and I like how I can throw transfers up on anything. Tee's, polyester, rainwear, caps. Makes a handful of left breast print size transfers pretty universal. So I think this is me and my niche for the rest of my screenprinting life.

No. I don't directly print this. Our clients offers and prints that type design. In fact, I don't have any machine for printing or I am not running my own company.
