Yeah killer cmyk job..... Looks awesome, I like the black shirt print better as the white shirt looks too saturated in red to me. The only thing that could have made it better was boost the red type on the black shirt with a red ink

All plastisol.  Union Process inks.  Legacy Base.  No highlight.  Separated in-house.

Cool. What mesh do you use, especially for UB? Do you double stroke the UB? (We've recently started CMYK on black, with reasonably good results; but we haven't done an image like this.)

So this is a first for me here in terms of having something to show (from the shop I work at).

This is my art I did for KolorMatrix who will also be printing this at the Nashville show and giving them away.
I got permission to use the file here at our shop with some slight modifications for our own crew shirts so we could jump into testing our hand at sim process.

I am ecstatic about the results and more so about how stoked our people got over doing this and seeing the results. They even hammered out issues. They bit man they bit hard!  We tested the differences on white, black, forest green, kelly green etc. I couldn't be out there the whole time, but THEY would run into issues setting it up, finding the sweet spot (found how much of a difference the off contact makes between the first 1/16th to the 2nd makes n a print. THey found how important it is to have pallets level, fresh blades, hard squeegees...they love the triple duro)...and were able to resolve some issues without me there all the time and THAT is exciting.   I was in a rush, but there are things I'd do different "in art" for our shop on the customization part, but this was a test. So soo excited for them.  You can see what was an afterthought in the print but it's all good.

Interesting thing.  This was separated as SIM PROCESS, but we here, don't have a pantone matching system. SO we first used our stock colors.  Lemon Yellow, True Red, and a royal blue, Process black, and base white/top white  So,  going into it, I thought hey, we got process black,...do we have any other process colors?  Lets switch out the inks so they can see how it looks by changing up print order and even inks. So yea,   This, is now a cmyk print on black.  Looks even better in my opinion compared t the slightly more opaque stock colors. The elt inks were thin, and good for sim, but those were a bit too vibrant. for this print.

I'm especially proud of the black right bottom shadow of his jacket/shirt thing. It's intended to be muted, aged or like a washed out black with a blue tint. Nailed it. The area out of place would be on the mask, the black used in the art..I must not have paid as much attention to in cutting it back or toning it down. it's a bit stark there. Stand out too much.

Playing with some new shop tees today. Printed on 180S at 65 dpi. Process black and a cream (looks white in the photo's) This was basically a test to see what I could get away with on a 180. They look much better in person and the gradient printed very nice on a low mesh :-)
