removing heat pressed graphics
« on: February 03, 2013, 08:33:01 AM »
screwed up a number on some 100% poly jerseys, product was stahls thermal film, didn't have any methylene chloride could not get any quickly.......after a brief test we discovered that dabbing the inside of the mesh jersey with my spot cleaner solvent cut the grip about 50% and I was able to peel the film off in one long stretchy piece.
Dried it pressed it and replaced the number worked just fine.....

The real test is after the garments have been laundered a few times......Even if no adhesive is visible, after laundering the remnants begin to pick up lint and dirt and because quite visible....
