Digital bumper sticker set up?

Anyone here print bumper stickers, digitally? right now we are outsourcing a ton, but i'm looking at getting our own digital printer.

can anyone recommend any set ups?

From what I know. Roland Soljet or Versacamm are the standard up in these parts, solvent ink printers, over laminate, seal edges if you can.

What is your concern with outsourcing?.....Turn around time?....Costs?.....

Many suppliers print bumper stickers with HP Indigo Presses and buy material in mass quantities....So quite often you can buy the finished product for the same or less than doing it your self.....I use www.stickerman.com www.tradenetcatalog.com or www.stouse.com

nothing against outsourcing, we typically have tight turn around due to rock bands and their lack of planning. I'm thinking of leaving our current vendor, so that's where the buying the equipment came from!

we use a Roland SC540 Soljet printer - works ok...  would be nice to get a newer generation printer but its not in the budget yet

Slow. Very slow........ slow........... not worth the price.
You can double the width with a few more K
