Anatol Mini & Titan users check this out
« on: January 07, 2013, 10:45:27 AM »
If you need a larger frame for your mini or titan Victory factory has standard size frames no special order 21 x 27 aluminum frames.  I talk with a sales rep this morning and they are on special price right now you can call them at 1-800-255-5335 or hit there website at victory factory dot com.  I use to buy from them many years ago and still have a few wood frames I still use on the manual now from around 2002 can't say the tension is high maybe 13 or 12 still might be less.

FYI.... I have some 21x27 frames from Victory Factory, that are in the rotation for use with my Titan.
But.... the tension, brand new, was not very impressive (I believe low teens... 12-14 n/cm).
I'll give them a check with my meter tonight and post the numbers here.

I''d be happy with numbers like:
110 -or- 165....  22 N/cm
230 -or- 305.... 18 N/cm

I know the tension are low, but they had some flat screens, I was at a show and bought some pocono screens they where heavy and tight as goats lips many years ago.  How old are your VF screens?

Hey Big D.... I checked the tension on my Victory Factory 21x27 frames.
I have a dozen (156,195,230). They're all at 16-17 n/cm now.
I bought them about a year ago and I was mistaken (in my earlier post) when I stated that they arrived with tension in the low teens.... they must have been upper teens.

So... nothing to brag about tension wise. But, still a very functional frame for the money.
They have nice 1.5" alum. frames and good workmanship with the glue.

North are they still nice and flat, I bought some 1.5 frames and ask the company to tension as tight as possible and those jokers where bowed like crazy, aluminum frames at that.  I can't remember who I bought those screens from now, but I do remember then being bowed.

I saw that Lawson's estore stocks 21x28 mzx frames and they stock shurloc panels in that size as well. I know they aren't cheap to get into but I thought it was cool they make that size roller frame.

Darryl... my V-Factory frames are flat (no bowing), but then again.. they're only 17 n/cm.

17n ain't bad to work with, I,m sure 25n to 30n is the sweet spot, but I could knock out some nice prints at 17.

The tensions are whatever is recommended by the mesh count.  We use Saati Smart mesh and pre tension all mesh before adhering to the frame.  All frames are made from scratch.  Been doing this for a lotta years.  3rd guy in the industry to manufacture screens.  We do not offer free shipping and handling but we do not mark up our cost on s&h.  You could use your shipper's number as well.  Any more questions feel free to call me.  I once worked for Anatol and know some nifty shortcuts on their presses.
