USPS

I need to vent.  We placed and order for scrub shirts for a customer.  They wanted them for Christmas.  They were brand specific so we order direct from the company that makes them, and they are down in Florida.  The order was placed Monday, Dec. 17th and we get the confirmation that the order was made.  Then on Tuesday, Dec. 18th we get shipping confirmation.  This company shipped via USPS.  WTF???  Are you kidding me???  We checked the tracking and it said that it would be delivered on Thursday Dec. 20th.  We were cool with this, as long as we could get the scrubs, get them printed and get them to the customer before Christmas Eve.  We had this little snow storm on Thursday, Dec. 20th.  They rescheduled the delivery date to Friday Dec. 21st.  Ok, I can understand a delay because of weather, but they haven't arrived yet and it is Dec 23rd now.  Why can't they get their crap straight?

I know that my main supplier's warehouse is quite close, with delivery the next morning, but, unfortunately for me, on the other side of the Sierras. A few times of the year, we are warned to order early because of expected snow delays, at least for UPS ground.

This time of year especially, "acts of God" need to be taken in stride.

Now, if you ever order from this manufacturer again, you may want to ask about other shipping options. In the meantime, my fingers are crossed for you.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
