Interesting. It made me go look for more old videos of shops. Didn't find any that old.

Those precisions were state of the arts at the time. I know a guy still running one down in South Fl. Works great for him.

I was there for all of that. Wound up working for Precision later on. Thought it was the dream job at the time. Had to commute from CT to NJ each day. Cost me a Mafia Princess Wedding but thats a whole nother story.

I don't suppose you were commuting to Garfield, NJ? My boss's old location was across from a huge company at the time that did all of the stuff for Disney and a bunch of other large clients. He said their shop was huge, bunch of autos, etc. Can't remember the name of the company.

It was Artwave Marketing. Hawthorne NJ. Disney, Dick Tracy, someone called Bart Simpson not having cow, and back when cigarette companies did promo tees legally.

1982 I was still in school then, and look how much has changed in the print game since then...equipment wise, printing process still the same. Great vid I love to see some more of the older stuff.

These were the days of Rubylith, Zipatone, Lettraset, Agfa, Advance, Precision, Split Fountains, Greaves on Garments, Wilflex MCV inks, Industry Pioneers like Mel Green, Dave Jaffa, Len Herman, and so many others.The only puff inks were waterbased at the time at that was my first introduction to waterbased inks. Believe it or not we were printing discharge back in "84
