Foxnews is actually reporting on their webpage Gas Monkey as third and Jesse second!  WTF!!

Fox news, you don't really trust them for your news do you?

yeah, its the only network that MR. O, doesnt have reigns on!

Guess that means if O had reins on Fox the news would be reported accurately? Ha!

I could really get started on this, but I won't, I respect the President, because he is the President, I don't have to agree with him though.

Well I think its hilarious when people try to imply a President has some magical direct control over news networks. They are just one man, their plate is so full its mind boggling, they do not wake up each day and spend the first few hours managing what all the news networks need to report for the day.

We all know the real powers behind news networks are corps, corps that have political leanings. POliticians do not even have to bother trying to corrupt a news network since they do it for them anyways.

I can tune in to two opposite leaning stations and listen to their argument from both sides, oddly the way each explains it makes sense hmmm. Thats the thing all this back and forth over things like economy budgets and cliffs etc. can be explained fifty different ways and all will sound good. As a person I prefer to look up actual facts on a subject and make my own decision on whats right or more importantly what will work. The current budget debate is a mess from both sides, I can actually agree with points from both sides and understand why both feel so strongly about their views, yet right in front of their noses is the solution, the solution is for both to use the strong parts and make a working compromise, but they will not do it. Instead its a pissing match of who will come out with more wins than the other, sadly then the only winner is which ever party but the loser is one party and the whole damn country.

I seriously hope to god he does not do that, that show is the worse ever. The two characters are actors in real life and they do not even try to imply the show is real in any way.

Hester should walk over to one of the other networks and start a new show, and not follow the stupidity of Texas Storage Wars another classic case of taking something that is maybe kind of possibly real and making it as fake as you can.

The wife and I went to a storage sale once didn't buy anything, but I would think if you had a store you could make some good coin on resell.  Kinda feel sad for the people who lose there stuff cuz we really saw some good stuff, but you had to bid on the whole storage unit.

Don't know if there is some type of per state regulations or something but here in CT they do not auction the room as is as seen only, all items are put out for display then everything is auctioned off that way.

I been to a couple storage facility auctions but found the biggest problem is they batch auction most stuff leaving the general public out of the equation who is just looking for a few decent items to purchase.

They all do it. I have a buddy that works for Universal and has friends that wrk on all these different shows. I am surprised it took this long to get out. He was talking about the staging after the first show was on. Pawn Stars is the same way too. All Rigged for TV. Most of those items would never end up in a pawn shop.

I like the gold rush shows, simply for the comedy of errors that occur daily. Again one of the original cast members I forget his name had a blog after being fired talking about how it is all staged up and salted just enough to keep everyone going.

I read some true accounts from real miners up in them woods, they all explain it the same, no one could survive one season the way those guys do, and no one would ever invest real money with a group like them ever.

But it is still fun to watch

My two favorite shows are Swamp people and mudcats.   They are really the only thing I will sit down to watch otherwise it is mostly whatever the kids have on.

Paul Jr 1st
Gas Monkey 2nd
3rd-no idea
4th-probably JJ since he's the most unlikable of them all and this is a popularity contest.

Duck Dynasty is one of my favorites, even though they are staging things.  I liked storage wars too but staging things in that show seems deceptive, where on duck dynasty, it doesn't feel deceptive...if that makes sense.  I also like watching the Gold Rush stuff and see how not to run a mining operation, good lord how can they screw so many things up?  I'm not a gold miner by any stretch of the imagination, but from the first episode I would be screaming at the television whenever they would do something I felt was wrong.  There is no doubt in my mind that if I were running that operation that it would have at least been respected and not a disaster like it has been.  Who knows if we would have gotten rich but I can promise you if those jackasses end up being profitable, most of us could have turned a profit 10 times what they would.  I have no idea how those guys (from Texas) could have watched the first two seasons and then actually invest money in an operation run by dumbshits, one hell of a risky move.

I love the Gold Rush show simply because it really teaches me how to be calm during chaos. Todd is very relaxed when things go terribly wrong, and they do so many foolish things it makes me feel good about myself that "hey, atleast I'm not THAT stupid". . .one thing I am really working on is to not "freak out" when 100 hoodies get jacked up, instead figure out a solution and trace it to the cause then fix it. one of my many faults.

I also like this new show Amish Mafia. . .nothing like getting a beat down form a dude in a buggy. . .

I think Jesse was the only one to build his own frame, right? I think the rest of the guys use a stock frame made to their specs, or a refurb. . .
