I love Gandhi quotes, this one below is probably my favorite, being an atheist not religious it still has about the same meaning.

"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ"
"No man is an island"

Here's a couple of my favorites from Colin Powell

“Being responsible sometimes means pissing people off.”

“The day the soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you stopped leading them. They have either lost confidence that you can help them or concluded that you do not care. Either case is a failure of leadership.”

“There are no secrets to success: don’t waste time looking for them. Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty to those for whom you work, and persistence.”

Sounds like Apple's got a wordier (trendier?) take on George Bernard Shaw--  "The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man."

"I'm not saying we kill all the stupid people, I'm just saying we remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out."

and ink, why would that be one of your favorite quotes?  You being an atheist and putting that as one of your favorite quotes says...I hate Christians, and Gandhi says it's ok.  The quote was probably meant for for Christians to look at and say, you know what, he's right.  I sure wouldn't put a quote slamming a group of people as one of my favorites...and the quote above is a joke, fyi.  It's durn funny.

Brad I guess you don't get it.

I look at all religions well most anyways and laugh at how almost none of them follow what their supposed religion tells them to do. It reinforces my reasons for rejecting religion.

As I said Gandhi said it to Christians because of their history but the point he is making sits perfectly with me as well.  And no I am not picking on christianity at all it just happens thats the group he was directing his quote at, insert any other religion and their prophet and the meaning is still the same.

Gandhi also said "An eye for an eye, makes the whole world blind" again that is pointing out something from the bible and several other religious books and I agree with it.

my point was I wouldn't put in my favorite list of quotes one about Muslims blowing themselves up.  My point was a favorite quote to me shouldn't be something that would tear another person down.

And I am not saying he is wrong for saying that.  My point was that is a lousy "favorite" quote.  It reeks of "I hate" or "I want to tear you down."
