Yeah I hate that font and ones like it.
especially when used as class rosters at 12 pts.
I also hate the way the "e"'s and "a"'s fill in.

There's alot of fonts I don't like to print and try my best to talk them out of it, but the end its there product and if they like it I have no problem.  The biggest thing is trying to go from a paper print to on garments, not everything works or look the same.

I say anything that can be displayed on a computer monitor should be able to be printed on fabric and look exactly the same.

Nice looking print Darryl.

Are there any tricks in illustrator that will cut out lines that are smaller than X points?

If I get a design with skinny-serif fonts "Engraver, Caslon, etc.), I sometimes thicken it up a bit by adding a small outline to it. This makes it easier to print and easier to read and the customer never notices that it's been altered.

I hear ya.. just making sure there are no tools I'm missing.  I'd hate to be bashing nails with a screwdriver just because I didn't know a tool called a hammer existed. :)
