A lady film maker did this piece last year. I know most of these guys BUT there are no shared genetics.

That is just messed up.  I have always been taught that if a rattlesnake is rattling it means "stay away I am in a pissed off mood and I will bite you."

Donnie, I was hoping to see you in one of those shots or at least a glimpse of someone wearing your printed tee. I do think I saw maybe one shot of you but it went by so fast it was hard to notice you.

That is a pretty big snake you have.  How long is your snake?  Ha.

Funny thing. Gary Moore, the guy who has been bitten way too many times, is an interesting fellow to say the least. We played HS BB together back in the day and I remember running more laps in practice because of his mouth than any other screw up. I'm glad he found something to occupy his time. Speaking of being bitten, I have a hunch that not too many of the snakes that bit him, survived the bite. ;)

Pretty cool video. I have to admit I'm with the guy who says he'd use a pistol to hunt 'em with. I'm not that interested in holding a rattlesnake out at arms length on a stick, much less by hand.
Work is the curse of the drinking class . . .

Well-made doc, I enjoyed that. I've never seen meat that moves after it's been killt, though... kind of kreepy. I've tasted rattler, too and yes... CHICKEN!

Now I'm a nature lover, so I often root for the animal in animal-human exhibitions, but man, you do seem to have a LOT of snakes... I live in diamondback country and I've never seen that many buzzworms in one place. Is there a Waynoka mouse hunt afterward? Because with all the snakes gone, you must be overrrun!  ;D

Lastly, I must say, that's some purdy country down there!

I see what you did there AND that is not my snake. Clearly this was not shot with a wide angle lens. ::)

We have hunted our snakes to extinction and it's rather sad.  They aren't as dangerous as yours but snakes are more sinned against than sinning.  Give the little guys a chance won't you?

Moon died last summer. Always had a story and a smile... He seldom let a drink pass him by.
