Dennis, thanks. I went to What the font, and as you know these connected script types need some messing to even get a reading.
As it is, your find is similar, but I don't think that it's even a matter of just beefing it up. It's different.

Andy, that looks the same to me. Is there a bold or black version of the same? What happens when you add stroke?
Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Add a stroke!
That looks like it is embroidered.

When you add a stroke, use rounded corners.

I did add some strokes, and it it gets much closer, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it (especially if I had it) but for instance, doesn't the vertical on the "K" look shorter, and flair out on the original? Granted I could modify (but wouldn't even bother on this job)

btw, where is the option for rounding corners on PS strokes?

Well, it's all probably a moot point because, I don't believe that the needed vectorization or re-creation and possible font costs are in this guy's budget.
I did just tell him that somewhere, there is a real file for these, and he should do some more digging. You guys all know the drill.

And it probably is the same font, but I see something a little different about the vertical stroke on the "k". They may have modified it a whisker. Not enough to worry about though.
