Who makes a good WB shimmer?

Also, I'm curious as to how this works with WB.  With plastisol, you have a clear base that binds the particles in when it cures.  Do the WB shimmers have a similarly thick base or, how do they hold the particles in?

Gerry, I think you know what you need to do for the light blue on Navy... don't short change your knowledge.

Then add that to what you have gained here and I think you have your answer.

FYI, IF you opt to discharge the light blue, then you really might as well discharge the entire thing.  At least I don't see the harm and it might help it pop.

When you get the chance order some metallic water base. I think you will enjoy the hand/results

I used water base metallic a lot of years ago, and they were great, soft and brilliant. Couldn't keep the screen open to save our lives, but I'm sure that's been addressed by now.

I'll check out some Matsui. 

I'm still curious as to how it works to bind the particles to the fabric, it must be something like a soft hand adhesive carrying the particles.  Seems like magic to me that it could hold them in and wear so well and yet have the soft hand.

We got screwed over hard once by a mis-formulated bucket of plastisol shimmer where the base was unable to completely secure the shimmer particles to the garments. Some released and the prints had a distressed look.  I've had lots of opportunity to think about the subject and learned a lot from that.  It cost us a major client and the other shops in town talk sh!t on us for it, I'll never let it happen again so I'm cautious.
