Franmar or CCI for recirculating tank.
« on: July 24, 2012, 08:27:26 PM »
I just purchased a recirculating tank from Blackline. Now I have to make a decision on what to use with it for cleaning the screens.
The instructions say to ad 10-12 gallons of Water with 3-5 gallons of any of Franmar`s ink degraders.
I`m leaning towards Bean-ee-doo because of the low price. Now I don`t know if that can be diluted with water or not. And anyway Greeneway was recommended to us but that is twice as expensive. How bout any of the Chemical Consultants screen washed, especially the ones from the Enviroline. is anyone here using those for a recirculating tank? And just to make the question more general what is in your recirculating tank that dilutes well with water?

Use Greenaway mix it half-and-half with water for our ink degrader.
We don't have a recirculating tank.
My experience with CCI is it's really really smelly. Really strong smelling.
Greenaway is crazy expensive but it works great and doesn't stink so I don't mind paying the extra cost.
