Floriani Software has added a new feature to its popular Total Control embroidery digitizing software program. The Appli-Stitch tool is designed to work with Appli-Stitch® Designs & Fabric, a revolutionary new material that allows you to sew out an appliqué shape and easily tear away the excess material eliminating the need for cutting or positioning fabric.
With the new Appli-Stitch tool, which is available in Floriani’s update 5.17, the software automatically creates the placement stitch, trapping stitch, and satin stitch border needed to perforate the Appli-Stitch material.
There are 10 collections of Appli-Stitch designs ready to use, however, with the Appli-Stitch tool, you’ll be able to customize these existing designs or create your original designs.
When you have an Appli-Stitch design selected, the properties box will display the available settings. You can change these settings however you want, but it is recommended to keep the density of the satin stitch border between 0.27 mm and 0.30 mm and keep the box checked for the trapping line.
