I'm glad I haven't heard of "Square Up".  I don't think I'd ever use them if that's their policy.  It's tough enough to keep capital on hand to order shirts, ink, etc. the way it is now without anyone holding funds that you need for supplies.
It's not a job if you love doing it.

I am beginning to see a trend, of either (choose one)

1. a big increase in the ease of fraudulent transactions and all of these virtual money handlers wanting to cover their butts at our expense, or,

2. they are just more high tech usurers taking us for whatever they can before their decent to the seventh circle of Hell as in Dante's Inferno.

And yes, Shawn, every professional screen printer needs credit with at least one main supplier. Thirty days should not be tough (unless, of course, you had that and blew it)
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

There's a link/form on their site to request higher limits. I had an account for a while and had to request a higher limit last month. I didn't even fill out some of more detailed sales info and they increased it anyway. Even released the previous funds that I would have waited another few weeks to get.

Intuit Go Payment has been holding funds longer than normal but I am switching to a "real" merchant service, cause the fees for square and gopayment are killer. I'm also getting terms with our shirt vendors to not tie up my money.

That is key in this business... OPM! Other Peoples Money! If set up right you don't have to use any of your cash to purchase blanks.

Monthly though? I can see a few days but breaking it up into months is crazy

With a bad credit score, he probably has a maximum monthly deposit amount.  i am sure it's in his terms of service.
