It's Vegas. What kind of party could anyone have that would even be attended in a free for all party town?

Is this a real question? If so let me say this. It doesn't matter if we are in Vegas. A industry get together is more about everyone there has the same interests. Its fun meeting people you have heard about or even talked to on the forum or phone but are so far away meeting is not an option. I guess even a dinner or happy hour would do it. If I was a powerhouse manufacturer or distributor for this industry I would have a happy hour at a near by bar for after the trade show is over everyday. You could give out drink tickets at your booth to people you really want to sell to or people you want there. Its cheap and also an effective.

I don't care about the free drinks I just like meeting people talking shop and having a good time.

We have tried hospitality suites, etc in Vegas and they all were less than sucessful. Our booth is a meeting place for a lot of people and we spend the money on trinkets for customers instead. There is actually a pretty nice one this year.

Different times then.

That works in New Orleans. Vegas has way too many casino,s with free drinks and scantily clad waitresses to compete with. On a boat you have a captured audience!!!!

That's cool, it will be the first thing in my shop with M&R on it. Not that I don't like M&R equipment (we don't need this thread to go that direction). I just haven't bought any of your equipment. I wouldn't mind one of your dryers. Is the trinket one of your dryers???
