I went last year and was very disappointed in that there were not more than small handful of booths geared to textiles. I would say 85%+ was digital printers for signage and sign supply company's. You may want to take a good look at the booth listings and see if they are what you will be expecting to see when you arrive.

I'm going to the ISS in Vegas in August. It’s on a Monday - Wednesday. Kind of strange it’s not on the weekend but it works for me. Its closer to me then Long beach. Anyone going to that one. I am buying beers sunday night.

I last did SGIA in 2006 and it was in Vegas. Like T Shirt Farmer said, it was not geared towward textiles even back then. If anyone finds the $ I left in Vegas during my last visit please let me know. :)

Ya know, I always laugh at myself about my trip to vegas a few years back. I went to the MAGIC apparel/retail show. In the evenings, the guy I was with would want to go to the slot machines. I would go with and watch people. I don't have a thing against gambling except for the abuse of it...but I never dropped a penny in one machine. Kinda proud of that. Resisted the urge or more accurately, I never had the urge. If I did, I probably could resist. LOL.

If I can take the whole week off from work and my biz to ride my moto 5 hours to go to vegas.. you can make it one day. 1st beer is on me this time, just no shirt price negotiations at the bar this time.  ;D
