cotton/spandex tank tops
« on: June 04, 2012, 08:30:30 AM »
I have small order of cotton/spandex tank tops. 94/6%

Should I use anything special on it? They want FLO Pink ink. Should I ad some stretch additive or not?
I have some FLO HO Pink from WM Plastic that should be OK with PFP.

Thanks

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

You have to expect that these were chosen for their stretch, so yes, you'd better add some stretch to the ink.

Heck, I've had young women order sizes of regular fabric tanks and T's that would have tested the stretch limit of regular ink!
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Rutland has or had a product called spandesol that is specifically designed for this application. I would recommend 5-10% as an additive. A substitute is WF HD clear.
