These are really light and corners look like plastic.

Old MZX with the composite corners.

Still good frames, just not for 50 Newton stretches.
Check the corners for splits, over torquing bolts can do that.

$10-$15 each is a good price.

I think I was ripped on these, but working with the seller to replace them.
I really have luck with screens/frames it seams

I specifically asked them if these are ones with metal corners and with Newman stamped on those corners, they kind off omitted that answer. Now, if they do not want to take them back, I will dispute the credit card charge and let them pick them up or send me a shipping label. They are trying to sell me other ones now, but I do not want to talk until I hear what they will do about these. They have found the wrong person to mess with...

I'm working on getting an auto and they won't really fit.

I have a hand full of those frames and NO!!! they won't take a really high tension, they start to bow in.  I think I,ve gotten them up to around 30n, but they will make good prints and I use them in my Mini Horizon press.

They're newmans, they're not bad.  They are kinda hard to level.  I keep a couple around for super high tolerance jobs ( )  on the ancient rear-clamp Hopkins.   

They're better than the statics you keep getting.

I know that they are better than statics, but not for $20/screen.
It bugs me that they omitted to give me an answer when I asked about metal corners and when they told me that they would clean them and get the ripped mesh out of them.

it shipped. the frames didn't fit in the tube so we have to send them separate. I'll dig up some mesh and toss it in there too. We used these frames for 60 & 24 mesh, they worked ok, just take your time. Gilly may have the best deal going here. 10.00ea, clear him out

$20 is too much I think, but the inability to get to 50 newtons, since award winning work is being done with 25 newtons on static frames, should not really figure in.
