New transfers dryer
« on: May 17, 2012, 04:46:52 PM »
We installed new dryer for our transfer printing. It's not directly related or interesting for screenprinters, but I think it's high end technology that might interest you. What i like most?
•It keeps temp within 2 deg within complete area of dryer
•We set belt speed in seconds spent in dryer, all other dryers we have ask for some calculating.
•Coolest top surface if all dryers I have touched. You can hardly say it's operating. It shows that most of the dryers they make are for glass industry. Extremely insulated!
•It's also extremely quiet. It's most loved piece of Equipment in the shop.
•We can open it on side which is a must. If we reduce temp for 20deg for different type of ink it needs 15 min to cool down. Luckily we can open its sides for 3-4 min and we are good.

I attached some pics

I have no idea. It's local small specialized company who made it. We payed 28.000$ for it. I know it's much for 4x0.7m dryer, but for some special WB inks we need to be able to regulate air flow ( we setup those values digitaly) and have exact temp.

Hi Boris.

It is nice to see that you rock over there. Business is good :)

I never asked you, why Rogach?

Is that because of the fruit? Or something else. On the other hand, I do not know if I should call that thing a fruit, whatever it is :)

Rogach is slovenian name for Stag beetle (Lucanus Cervus) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lucanus_cervus_male_top_2.jpg
When i started company I didn't really knew what I was going to do with it. I opened Encyclopedia on random page and Rogach was cutest thing on that page.

It is not really CLC transfer. We print image with Xerox laser printer as  you can see, but we overprint it with screened white ink and adhesive. We create something we call HD Transfer. Similar to Litho-Transfer, but we do it from 25 sheets on.  Result is high definition very durable transfer. It is our bestseller.

this Youtube video is very old, we replaced transferprinting machinery completely and same in screen making & washing area. I should really shoot new one. This one isn't realistic about our monthly loan payment  ;)

Funny.
Jelenak in Serbian or Croatian

So in Slovenia, it would be funny to ask someone if they want to eat one Rogach ;)
