hey if you are looking into it let me know what you find.  right now we use stahls kit for ours.  very cheap but a little time consuming in the beginning but once you get use to it not bad,  have to do 2 color on separate sheets.   but only done orders with less than 30 pieces, for more than that forget it.

P has one over on the other board. I have never considered it due to ROI and enough steady biz. BTW do your homework on the stones the vary GREATLY in price due to composition, shape, size, and sometimes color. The polished aluminium ones are the cheapest while the Swarovsky stones used for Bebe apparel are the most expensive.

How do you charge for your custom rhinestone work you do?

out the butt,

actually a job we just did was a screened word with rhinestones around it 20 pieces using stahls b6400  we charged $18.50 per shirt.  this was a booster club and they sold them for $32 and already have another 30 piece order in here.  no set up or screen charge since they were a booster.   I think we spent like $120 with shipping  for the full kit with stones  and we have a plenty of stones and supplies for more jobs.  the mask for each job can be saved for future use as well.  so this repeat order we need nothing but the shirts, print and stones.  and we have extra stones.

we used to have them done for use but the charge for them was outrageous,  example the above job would have cost us $165

What "kit" are you talking about?

Is it just me or does Stahl's website suck?

Costs vary widely per design and also depending what type of stones you are using. The cheapest are the Koreans, then the machine cut which my wife uses and then swarvosky My wife is getting into cutting her own templates, fairly easy to do. Also sticky flock is great compared to the cheaper rubber stuff. I found a calculator that will tally up your costs for you, I'll try to find it and post the link.
