And seriously.  I know a lot of people here have had him help them out with things, but the offer Pierre made my family is one that I can honestly say is about the most generous offer...ever.

As many of you know my daughter has a heart defect, she has an 8mm hole in her heart.  She's had it from birth and she is only 2 years old now.  We have a doctor currently, but Pierre has a family member that is one of the top cardiac surgeons in the world.  Pierre was kind enough to help put us in touch for a second opinion. 

Since the hospital that his relative visits frequently Pierre even offered to let us stay at his house instead of a hotel. 

It doesn't get any kinder than that.

He is indeed a good apple.  There are some pretty good folks in our industry and Pierre is one of those at the very top.  I have a 2 year old and I know how something like Pierre has done can mean the world, it is that special.  Way to go Pierre.

Brad, you are making mountains out of molehills. It was a couple of emails and an offer to stay here to somebody who would do the same for his friends. As many here pointed out, lets keep our eyes on Ava, she is the one that maters!

Damn Brad I hope as much as possible it works out for you and her, I know a tiny bit of where you are coming from, my daughter was born with a hole but it filled in as she grew phew! I dreaded every single dr visit expecting bad news and I always always hoped not to be exactly where you are!. Good news is they are so far ahead of fixing these things today than days of old I believe she will be just fine.

My grandma had a hole in her heart the size of a half dollar until she had it fixed in either the late 50's or early 60's.  Ironically, she passed away on the same exact day as Ava was born, about 12 hours apart.

Brad...thoughts and prayers to you and your entire family....as for Pierre...heck he makes be a better person every day...I am fortunate to be able to sit with him for hours on end talking about everything...and I mean everything....That is one thing I really enjoy about AC.
