Damn.... looks like a tracer but for 550 bucks a few extra prints heads around the shop wouldnt be so bad.

That is a SMOKING deal!  That's not a legend though is it?  Might just be newer/cleaner than mine.

If it's a legend then it's work at LEAST 2k... I'd buy and sell it if I was local.

For a new guy, that ^^ dude sure is sharp! ;) ;)

Right away the first thing that turns me off is there isnt a strut bar for anti platten arm deflection but the arms looks very short , the shorter the arms the less deflection. If you ever come across a press with long platten arms and no trut bars, RUN!

Absolutely untrue on an Antec.

Gilligan, our machines are OK because of the shorter arms, we have 6/4. I believe that any bigger machine has that feature.

Touche`  But I'm a stickler for deflection, that is one reason I was unimpressed with the riley hopkins when I saw some ryonet videos... they look so solid but ugh, deflection.  I know ours are SOLID.

Yeah my better half won't let me pull the trigger on it either...  I'm waiting on an 8 color press.

As far as strut bars it's a damn good measuring stick when your looking at a press. I learned this lesson the hard way when I bought a POS that looked solid but was not! Thing had spagetti arms, the wind could deflect the arms lol. I cant even remember what it was anymore...

I wasnt a huge fan on the micros either but they far are not any better than the workhorse ones. I would like to someday not even have to touch a micro. Hoping that dude from Bulls Eye builds a jigg for a manual soon lol.

I also saw this printer on craigslist. Definitely NOT an Antec Legend as stated previously. No micros but looks very similar to the Antec Tracer. This model must have preceded the Tracer.

The Tracer Micros were the hot set-up add-on for our non micro Hopkins presses twenty years ago.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
