Sartorius Ink Scale for Sale

Hey everyone, we have a great Sartorius scale from Germany for mixing inks that we don't need anymore. Upgrading but this scale is still awesome and works perfectly. Have Model and Serial number, is explosion proof (these guys are used for mixing in somewhat combustible environments) and will post pics in a day or two. They tend to be rather expensive out of the box, so just looking for 50%. I would rather sell here to someone I know versus FB. Okay, I'll get pics up in a day or two.

we have the same model - bought it in the early 2000s.  its older than some of our employees...

Ours is the same specs and also has an RS232 port to use with mixing software (which we've never used I really should get on that someday)

Hey, Yup, this is all correct. Thanks everyone. I'll get pics up tonight with it in action. Just needs a quick baby wipe down and good as new. I'll post tonight. Might be kinda late though

it makes mixing so much easier - we use the IMS 3.0 software from Avient.  if i add too much of one component and cant remove it without contaminating etc...  you can click the "recalculate for errors" button and it does all the math to get the formula back into balance.  you just go back and add a bit more of the other components and continue on making the ink.  - you probably knew all this anyway...

This is a great scale! We picked up a near identical one on ebay a few years ago for 3-400 bucks... I thought it was a steal. Whats the asking price?! I might want another one...  feel free to PM me.

We got an adapter made for ours. It also has the RS232 port.. you need a custom cable since they use a weird pinout. The guy you want to talk to is in Canada. Brian Foster @ Calgary Scale. He'll build the cable and tell you what baud rate to run 2400 i think.... You'll also need a tripp lite serial adapter to get it running with USB. PM me if you want his email. He rocks!
