Transfer Storage
« on: December 28, 2021, 01:35:38 PM »
What is everyone that does a lot of transfers using for storage? We are over whelmed with transfers and have filled up a bunch of bins and what not, have piles that cannot be sorted because no storage. I searched online for a good system, some systems would need a second mortgage. I found these which i am thinking of buying several dozen of http://quantumstorage.thomasnet-navigator.com/item/dividable-grid-containers-dg-series-/containers-6/dg93060?plpver=1023&pcat=deluxe-systems, then building my own rack system to place them in.

Thoughts?

most of our transfers are for inner neck labels. So we have them stored in poly bags, inside hanging folders in filing cabinets!

I use the flat boxes called mailers   like these

https://www.uline.com/BL_1402/Literature-Mailers-Kraft

then label on the outside what they are.  the transfers are store in ziploc bags inside.

Those are similar to the boxes we get from TransferXpress, we have lot of them but find them to be not durable enough for the amount we are dealing with. The poly bags is my next project to find at an affordable price

Many years ago I worked in a drafting department well before computer storage. There were 1000's of factory drawings of various sizes.
had a fire proof room where these items were stacked to about 5 feet tall.

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES COMPLETELY WITHIN MY CONTROL YOU SHOULD GET YOUR OWN TEE SHIRT AND A SHARPIE MARKER BY NOON TOMORROW OR SIMPLY CALL SOMEONE WHO GIVES A SHIRT.
