Clevis pin (I think)
« on: June 21, 2021, 08:28:11 AM »
This pin broke on our trusty old Insta 226 heat press. My measurements have it at 1/2" diameter by 5/8" overall length, and the outer edges and grooves are 1/16", etc. I've tried McMaster Carr and Grainger, but in the 1/2" dia. only come in longer, 1" and up lengths, which won't do. So I'm looking for suggestions for a vendor, thanks in advance.

Take it to a local machine shop. Should not cost much to make, would only take them a few minutes

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES COMPLETELY WITHIN MY CONTROL YOU SHOULD GET YOUR OWN TEE SHIRT AND A SHARPIE MARKER BY NOON TOMORROW OR SIMPLY CALL SOMEONE WHO GIVES A SHIRT.

I spoke with McMaster Carr, and got a couple of 1" long, and will add some washers to take up the slack. Thanks for the recommendations.
