I had a similar thing here:
Guy calls to get a quote, asks a bunch of questions, wants to come in the next day, but then realizes he's out of town on that day.
Well, that day arrives and he stops by while I'm out grabbing lunch...literally went to Arby's drive thru, so I would be back in 10.
Comes in and gets pissed I'm not there, even though he said he would be in the following week. Didn't call to make sure I would be there first either. So one of the guys tries helping him. Shows him the shirt I quoted. He asks, "is this one of those shirts that gets all stretched out when you wash it?" Strange because when I told you I am quoting you on a Gildan Ultra Cotton, his response was "I love Gildan tees."
Continues to get pissy with the staff about how I'm not there and how hard it was to find our building. Mind you, Google will get you here just fine and when we talked on the phone the day before I told him if you get to the auto care center you've gone too far, we are the side street before that. Naturally he called from the that parking lot.
If he calls or comes in I am not messing with it. I can only imagine how well an order would go when I spell everything out for him on the phone and he doesn't remember a single detail. Life is too short.
