"He who marches out of step hears another drum." ~ Ken Kesey
Hey all! My time has come to bow out of the print industry. I have a small manual shop, mostly Vastex machines purchased new in 2015, and a good friend who was working with me in the shop will be carrying on in a new location. I want to price everything out for him and I don't want to overcharge him or undercharge for that matter. What're the best/easiest calculations for used equipment costs? I bought it all new in 2015 and everything is in great shape. Would be a certain percentage based on 5-6 years of use?The main pieces I am selling are:Vastex 2000 6/4 Vastex Exposit 4731Vastex EconoRed II 30"Thanks for any advice you can give and if this is the wrong category to post this, please accept my apologies and either move it or let me know and I will be happy to repost it in the proper forum. Thank you! Lenny

Thank you! LennyThe fine folks at M&R emailed me once a depreciation list for their equipment. Now that`s already a couple of years ago and I can`t really remember if that was based just on their Automatic printing presses or if that list was meant to cover all of their equipment. Let me see if I can still find it in my emails.
