"He who marches out of step hears another drum." ~ Ken Kesey
So I'm looking at vids doing some more research on DTF and found one company that say the L1800 is not good for DTF even though I see just about anyone doing DTF are using the L1800. I've already placed my order for a modified L1800 printer and inks, paper etc, they never mention another printer but say you can send your work to them for now. Have any of you found a better printer or is the L1800 doing the work you want right now, I know as this gets better the products get better.
The word is that they are also pretty slow. I keep looking this subject over too, and P600 and P800 seem to be pretty popular. However, there are some RIP's out there that will work with a number of Epson printers that have at least 6 color channels. Look up White RIP. Steve
I got my stuff from the same place Homer told me about, 1 liter of ink was way cheaper than getting a liter of ink here by far and film, I see where they have a fusion L1800 for DTF and there is a company in Texas that builds DTF printers they are using a P600 for the base I think. Go look up DTGpro and look at what they have in price then get with Homer and look at those price's, my shipment should be in this week or early next and I will have more info hopefully.
