Switching from a M&R Diamondback 10/8 to a ROQ Next 14/10. Needless to say that this is a hell of an upgrade especially in diameter. Have to make some major changes to our tiny layout we have already. Half the darkroom will have to go or I might even consider having no darkroom at all and have the Spyder , the screen drying cabinet the semi auto coater and the exposure unit just lined up at the rear building wall. I`m pretty sure we could manage without a darkroom, all our ceiling lights are LED and windows are not clear glass either. Anyway even if we keep the darkroom but reduce it in size it still would leave me with some tight areas to move around the press. In that case the areas of concern would be by printhead 4, only 23 inches between press and wall and printhead and the printhead at the exact opposite side of the press would leave me only with 14 inches to get through. I could position our second flash in that printhead. I probably can manage with 23 inches at printhead #4. Maybe some of you with tight spaces can give me some advise or feedback.
