custom boxes for merch
« on: September 18, 2020, 10:50:28 AM »
Does anyone have a source they use for custom boxes they can share?

As we go further into e-commerce and fulfillment our first major customer wants custom boxes when the orders go out. This is for a large investment firm and these are "rewards" for big investors or clients so its a bit more specialized.

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Depending on what size/wall thickens your best bet will be to find a local corrugated box manufacturer. Many times due to the density it costs as much to ship boxes long distances as it does to print them, that is why you will see so many box manufacturers in every city.

This was discussed at length back in June in this thread. Perhaps it will help.

Thanks. I had seen this thread but our customer is looking for something a little more upscale. Something we couldn't in house. Possibly full color with gloss. Though I am talking them into a more sustainable option.

I would still check with a local place if you have one. I know a few of the ones up here can do the full color gloss printing.

All of what I have to say can go out the window though if the boxes are smaller than T-Shirt boxes...
