Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison
When you start a day like that it can only go up from there.
I didn't specify up or uphill....
I am not complaining really, but does anybody else have a hard time getting stuff done after starting a day with really dumb/bad emails? I know they shouldn't set me off, but man, dealing with the same questions from the same customers every time they place an order just gets to me after a while. My main gripe is when you get a quote, then cut the quantities in half, don't bitch about why the the prices went up. Pricing structure is set to reward you for ordering more.If you are a contract customer and you send me the proof that you sent your customer, don't ask me to re-proof it. I will simply send you back the proof you sent me. I am not re-creating a proof and putting it on our shirt blank.Everything you just wrote my wife went through this morning LOL, yep and I got to hear all about IT!!!Another customer is panicking about print details written out on the quote. I explained to her several times before that once the order is approved and a deposit is paid, the order moves to proofing. From there they will see where the logos go and in what colors. I feel like there is a saying that goes a picture is worth a thousand somethings.Again, I don't mean to complain, but does this happen with anyone else? When the first 2-3 emails just set everything off on the wrong foot for the day it just zaps my motivation.
Today is also the first day or digital learning and I've been fielding calls from my really pissed off wife. We had all summer to prepare for this and aside from a really crappy new interface for the students, nothing has changed. All the interface does is link to a zoom meeting that they could link from an email. The system logs you off periodically, and the teacher doesn't notice you've requested access back to the zoom call. My sister couldn't even log into the system to access her son's class. It's a recipe for a really crappy day. Oh well, at least our youngest had fun at day care. I need to go fishing...but the boat is in the shop(maintenance, every shop is 5-6 weeks out on tune-ups)
