Roll to Roll PET film printer?

Hey all,

Does anyone have any experience with PET films and if so do you recommend any particular brand? Looking at some sort of roll system where you can gang up plus do oversize. There are options overseas of course just looking at what is available here now and has support. Thanks!!!

We use Burkhardt Freeman for PET Transfer Sheets.

Basically looking to print from a roll so we can gang  up or print as long and wide as possible for all over transfers on to shirts. From my understanding the ink that works with PET film is opaque, soft, and has stretch. Lots of possibilities

Not sure of the process you are thinking of, any videos or links to share?

As far as I know for "allover prints" it would be done as sublimation, but then you are limited to a polyester tee.

The transfers I source that come on PET backing are not soft enough to what I would recommend for all over prints, and they are printed offset with a screen print adhesive layer.

Hey this more of a newer technology I believe. The inks work on cotton to blends. Not sublimation. But you do need to heat press them. The one Mike on here is looking at is a Chinese company but he is in New Zealand so he goes there all the time. I am getting samples from HP but their ink might have more of a hand to it being latex based. But you never know. But it does side step pre treating shirts and being on a roll you can output a ton of hat transfers, long sleeves, sweat pants, and yeah all overs. Large heat press required but again no pre treat.

Zane, i'm gonna have some new PET for you to try in about a month. We found some that we like better than the BF.
