Sounds like a gay bar from a poorly written sitcom.

We use Time Guardian.  It's an older system that uses badges or PIN for clocking in or out.

The other side of this is most states are very serious about labor violations.  A lot of systems allow rounding to the nearest 1/4 hour.  Our payroll company warned us to turn all of that stuff off.  Make sure your employees are paid for the time they work and you keep good records.  My neighbor ended up suing the cable sub-contractor he worked for because of labor violations.  The state went back 4 years and all employees in those years were automatically awarded a payout.

Whatever you use make sure you can keep your data after your subscription ends.
