Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison
Pierre what are we seeing on he computer screen?RGB?Maybe I should have the bridge to compare what’s on the screen to what we get from the M3 mixing system.
The problem is this, we have customers who have logos and artwork that were professionally designed and they send us Pantone colors.Others don't have Pantone colors and our graphics department send them mock ups with Pantone colors. They see what we sent them on screen, a RGB color with a Pantone number, they do not have a guide or sample. When we print and use our mixing system (M3) we are working according to the Pantone CC guide which is different to what they see on screen. Our graphics screens have been set up with Color Munki (my brother is a photographer and has one), but the customers hasn't.What they see are screen is not the same as what we print.I don't know if there is a solution to this problem other than a disclaimer that the colors you see will be within X % accurate.
