Electric Dryer Recommendations

Looking at the M&R Fusion, 6 foot chamber. That's about as big as I can go and that's kinda tight. My Jennings dryer has been plugging along for at least 15 years with a few panel swaps and one belt motor, but I know the day is coming. It keeps up with what we print (small 6 color auto shop). Should I be looking at something other than M&R? Thank you :-)

You won't go wrong with the M&R but make sure you research the Vastex line of dryers for best value for your dollar.

If you go this route be sure you go with the 4 panel.

I purchased the 4 panel Fusion a couple months ago and I'm pleased as peach.  I had an old National dryer that was rebuilt. 
So it wouldn't take much to be a big improvement.

The one I have right now, that I actually really like is the Aeolus by BBC.

I know of one in Modesto, CA. Single phase, 4 panel, 83A. 2009 model. $3500

Guy has both a Fusion and a Radicure available as he is going to gas. Radicure is $8500 and still in production.

I've had my eye on this one if I stay electric. For the price it looks like I can get a reconditioned mini sprint though so that might be my next move.

Nation, I bought a refurbished 2007 mini sprint in 2013 and haven't looked back.  That dryer is a workhorse.

I had a Radicure that worked well BUT was about $500-$700 month in electricity bills , it did the job for us for years , I upgraded to a sprint 3000 now my electricity bills average $275 a month down from $700 or higher . I couldn't do it earlier but when we moved to a building
with gas we were able to switch.

We ran an old Maxi-Cure 60".  Our bills in the summer were over $1,000 a month...15 years ago.  Now they top out around $600 if it's really hot out.

Gas is great if it's possible. If you are going gas, you should really look at Interchange as well.  We've run ours for over 10 years and the only problem we've run into is a blower motor failed in the first year.  Other than that, nothing(except breaking the insulation on the ignitor and flame rods a couple times.

If it was me looking for electric I'd also look at BBC's Aeolus. I've seen it in action and really like the design. The heat chamber is not shaped like a rectangle, but think more like the top portion of a stop sign that has been squished down. Where your top two corners are, it has an additional panel to prevent cool spots as it comes down the dyer. (think where the top of the dryer meets the wall is where the heat-output ends, so they added an additional panel/side on the edges to prevent those cool spots).
