Heat Seal Acrylic Beanies
« on: September 25, 2019, 07:59:20 PM »
Most of the beanies I look at are acrylic. How do these things behave?
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

we have tried this a bunch of times on a bunch of different beanies...and the results are always crap.  beanies stretch like crazy and are typically ribbed. transfers adhere poorly and deform. they tend to show press marks even with a bunch of bandaid solutions.  we just offer embroidery on these now.

Same as above...we've never been able to master acrylic stuff.  including scarves.  embroidery only for us as well.

Yeah, even before I read these responses, my wife had doubts, offered up her Sharks cap as a volunteer, and it was indeed crap.
