I might be breaking a rule here but just hooked up my sound bar to the phonograph. Sure enough Regina's Happy New Year came on. I had forgot. If you do not tear up over that, then, well for you. Now for Alan Parsons Project and later, Steely Dan. I can hear it in the studios without scaring the neighbors so far. There is something to be said about putting records on a turntable. Just keep the ink off of your hands!

Vinyl is my friend. When music is the main act rather than in the background, I'm "spinning platters" Last record on the table was not nearly as mellow as the ones you've listed. Taking advantage of having the house to myself, a high volume blast from the psychedelic past. Not everyone's cup of tea...

Agreed , try Frank Zappas Joes Garage. Takes a few tries but it was a great piece of work. "Something/Anything by Todd and anything by both Elvises. Contractors are in the main studio so for now, all music is off. Something/Anything is one of the most beloved albums to me. Todd and I had met as I dropped some product and we discussed how tricky it was to pull it off. Then he mentioned something. "I don't know or care about what you do but, Thank You  now enjoy the show." It was Joe Jackson and Todd in a small venue with some others. Best show ever. Later that morning, as we were checking out there was Todd. He gave a nod and hopped in the bus. I'll take that.

Tony, in the vernacular and in the context of the time and circumstance, "dropped some product" could easily mean something other then delivering shirts, LOL!

Before he passed, He and I shared much about the "White Heat/ White Light "days. Much different than "Its a Perfect Day" We talked about Bowie and Andy and that was the last time I saw him. Different times indeed.
