KARA SERIES CTS INK
With trying to keep up with customer demands, M&R is always looking for the best possible product we can offer. M&R introduces the new KARA SERIES INKS.
Over the past 8 months, M&R’s Digital R&D team has been developing and testing this new computer to screen UV blocking fluid for the I-Image (Ricoh Print Head) family of printers.
This ink has been thoroughly tested in house and is currently used in ALL the CTS units in the M&R Print Lab Screen Room, as well as many customers in the field.
During our testing the R&D team has confirmed the following information about the KARA-01 ink:
- Dramatically improved opacity over Type-K and T6
- Better compatibility with most emulsion types
- Better compatibility in most environmental conditions
- Cleaner and more round halftone dots from highlights to shadows
- Cleaner and crisper edge definition
- Improved exposure quality leaving a higher quality stencil once rinsed out
- Improved rinse out after exposure
This new ink falls under a new name, KARA. The ink for the M&R Ricoh print head CTS systems will be found under KARA-01-1K. It is currently available only in a 1L bottle. To order, a customer just needs to say KARA-01, or search this name which will make it easier to assure the consumer gets the correct ink every time.
Any currently customers that want to switch over from their current ink to the KARA-01 ink can do so. In order for this to happen, they must contact the M&R Digital Service Team for proper instruction and required maintenance items to assure a proper flush and replacement items.
For any additional questions, please contact the M&R Digital Service Department.
